My week day morning routine, like most of America’s, is rushed and on-the-go. That’s why smoothies are a perfect breakfast option, but it is important to blend a combination that is not only going to hold you over for a while but also going to provide nutritional value.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 tsp ground coffee
- 2 tbsp dry oatmeal
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk
The Peanut butter and banana together create an excellent source of protein and the oatmeal adds fiber to keep your HANGRY belly tamed! The pinch of 100% Colombian Coffee also quenches the morning caffeine craving and gives you kick of energy for the day. Here I added some granola and fresh strawberries because toppings are life!!!
